State Rd. 87 Extension

Santa Rosa County, Florida

ERC > Projects > Threatened & Endangered Species > State Rd. 87 Extension

ERC conducted the natural resources evaluation and analyses for the project, which entails multiple vehicular, pedestrian, and recreational corridors stretching across approximately 800 acres in northern Santa Rosa County.

ERC was responsible for preliminary investigations to determine potential corridor alignments, which included a bridge over an Outstanding Florida Water with sensitive resources and designated critical habitat for two federally listed species.

ERC also conducted the detailed wetland delineation, threatened and endangered species surveys, water quality assessments, and other site specific analyses related to the affected ecological factors.

ERC prepared a Biological Assessment and reviewed the draft Biological Opinion as part of the Section 7 consultation with US Fish and Wildlife Service.

ERC prepared the wetlands, wildlife and habitat, and other natural resources sections of the Draft EIS.
